Acupuncture Therapy

Acupuncture is the cornerstone of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). By inserting fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body, we stimulate the nervous system to release natural painkillers and immune system cells.

What to Expect

Your first session involves a comprehensive consultation where we discuss your medical history and current symptoms. The treatment itself is relaxing; many patients fall asleep during their session.

Styles We Practice

  • TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine): Focuses on balancing Qi and blood flow.
  • Trigger Point (Dry Needling): Targets tight muscle knots for immediate pain relief.
  • Japanese Style: Uses thinner needles and shallower insertion for sensitive patients.

Does it hurt?

Most people feel little to no pain. The needles are hair-thin. You might feel a slight dull ache or tingling sensation, which is a sign of "De Qi" (arrival of energy) and indicates the treatment is working.
